Liverpool have signed teenage forward Djylian N’Guessan although he won’t play for the club until at least next season.
The 18-year-old will sign for Liverpool on a permanent deal in January from Saint-Etienne, but will spend this campaign on loan at Stade Brestois.
After debuting in January 2025 for Saint-Etienne, the French forward played 13 times and scored once.
N’Guessan played seven times for France in the 2025 Under-20 World Cup. Last summer he was named in the Team of the Tournament at the U17 European Championship, having scored four goals for France.
