The next round of the Premier League will usher in a double red meeting between Liverpool and Manchester United. Liverpool striker Salah hopes to score in the game against Manchester United to wash away the recent decline.
Salah’s form seems to have slipped recently, including with Liverpool and the Egyptian national team, where he has scored just one goal in his last 12 games, a penalty in the 2-0 win over Brighton.
However, Salah has always been outstanding against Manchester United in the past, scoring seven goals in the last five games against Manchester United.
Salah was under a lot of pressure recently when he couldn’t find his shooting boots, but team-mate Arnold excused him: “Salah sets high standards for himself, but he’s been criticized for that. Although he’s in assists Behind me, but he’s still the top scorer in the Premier League.”
Salah’s strength is there for all to see and Arnold believes he will soon get back to his former form. “Salah has been amazing for the past four or five seasons and it would be unfair to say he is in a downturn. We believe that. It’s only a matter of time before Salah can score again for Liverpool.”
