A first-half strike from Richarlison and a second-half brace from Mikey Moore helped Roberto De Zerbi’s new-look Tottenham team beat Hoffenheim 3-0 in north London on Saturday.
The Italian named a starting XI which included new arrivals Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Sandro Tonali.
James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Mateus Fernandes, Mohammed Kudus, Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro were among those missing from the Spurs team sheet
Tonali and Robertson both had a hand in the opener, with the Italian cleverly turning away from his marker in midfield and laying the ball wide for the left-back to whip into the box for Richarlison to sweep home.
