Tottenham Hotspur have made enquiries to Chelsea for Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo, sources have told ESPN.
Spurs have spent £380 million on eight new players already this summer but are looking to make further additions before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
Roberto De Zerbi is keen on adding a winger with Spurs pushing to sign Everton‘s Iliman Ndiaye after failing with a move to sign Cody Gakpo, who is now expected to stay at Liverpool despite interest from Manchester City.
A deal for Ndiaye is uncertain with City now interested in exploring an agreement and Spurs are working on other options including a surprise move for Mudryk, who is free to play again after a resolution was reached between the Football Association and the World Anti-Doping Agency having spent 20 months on the sidelines after returning an adverse urine sample.
De Zerbi has a previous relationship with Mudryk from their time together at Shakhtar Donetsk, where the Ukrainian winger broke into the first-team before making a £85m move to Chelsea in January 2023.
Sources say it is unclear how advanced talks are with several other clubs including Sunderland and Leeds interested in Mudryk as well as unspecified teams in Europe.
Mudryk has not been selected in any of Chelsea’s matchday squads to date and last played a competitive game for the club in November 2024.
De Zerbi revealed after Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle that Richarlison, Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr have all asked to leave the club.
Tosin is viewed as a possible replacement for Danso, who will push to complete a move on deadline day.
Premier League clubs can only have one player on loan at the same time from another team in the division, so if Spurs want both Mudryk and Tosin to arrive from Chelsea before Tuesday’s deadline, they will have to decide which to sign permanently.
