Diego Gómez has written his name into the history books with a stunning goal on Sunday.

Collecting the ball near the halfway line, the Brighton midfielder advanced just into Crystal Palace‘s half and launched the ball over goalkeeper Walter Benítez and into the net for a spectacular goal in the seventh minute of the Premier League match at the Amex Stadium on Sunday.
Gomez’s goal put Brighton 2-0 ahead against their biggest rival — and they went 3-0 up three minutes later.
Such a flurry ensured that Brighton are just the ninth team in Premier League history to score three goals in the first 10 minutes of a game.
