According to Spanish news agency Efe, Bale will not start in Wales’ friendly against Czech Republic on Tuesday. He may not even make the roster due to a groin discomfort.
The Welsh player shined in last Thursday’s World Cup play-off semi-final against Austria. He scored a goal in the game to help the team reach the play-off final.
However, Bell walked off the court in overtime due to a groin problem. Wales manager Robert Page confirmed on Monday that he would not risk Bale and has not yet decided whether to let him play in the next friendly.
The Wales coach said: “He had a difficult 95 minutes against Austria. We will make a decision on Tuesday. He will not start.”
Bell’s injury in Wales again means that he will return to the club with an injury, which seems to have become routine for him.
