Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been ruled out of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester City due to injury.
The Reds welcome Enzo Maresca’s side to Anfield in their first game since an independent commission found City guilty of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules. City vehemently deny any wrongdoing and have appealed the verdict.
Liverpool were already without Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo for Sunday’s game, while long-term absentees Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni remain unavailable.
Szoboszlai is also absent from the matchday squad after sustaining a hamstring problem, sources told ESPN.
