After losing 3-6 to Manchester City, Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag hold a meeting with the players and asked every MU players criticize each other for their unacceptable performance.
This is according to The Telegraph, after Manchester United players return to the Carrington training ground. Erik ten Hag asked every players and assistant coaches to attend a meeting. The meeting is say to analyze the 3-6 loss to Manchester City. However, inside this meeting, everyone is just criticize and accuse others.
Erik ten Hag said: “The door is open, and this kind of performance is completely unacceptable. As a team and individuals, we will criticize each other and then learn from each other. We must do better and start the next game.”
Manchester United have defeated Arsenal and Liverpool before, but they were vulnerable against Manchester City, which brought them back to reality. Erik ten Hag said: “They must accept criticism. When they have the ability to bring team belief to the court on an individual basis, they can beat Liverpool and Arsenal. These two games have proved this.”
