Leicester City vs Liverpool. Gary Lineker slams Liverpool for snub.

As a joke, Gary Lineker has mocked Liverpool after his old team Leicester City won a surprise game.

Tuesday night, the Foxes won against the title contenders at the King Power Stadium thanks to an Ademola Lookman goal in the second half.

At Manchester City just two days ago, Leicester gave up six goals.

There are a lot of injuries that Brendan Rodgers is having to deal with. He says that the number of absentees is one of the worst things about being a manager.

They were still able to beat their heavyweight opponents, even though one of them missed a first-half goal.

Lineker made sure to point out that the hosts had a small team because many of their backs were on the bench.

Liverpool also had more time to rest after their Boxing Day game with Leeds was called off.

Jurgen Klopp often complains about how many games his team has to play in a short amount of time, but it was his team who enjoyed having six games since their last game.

The tweet from Lineker: “Wow! This is so cool!” Great job, @LCFC! It was 48 hours after playing Man City against a rested @LFC team. There were a lot of injuries, and they had to play 48 hours after that. How would you describe yourself?

Leicester’s win moves them into the top half of the league, while Liverpool missed out on the chance to close in on league leaders City. This is what happened:

Rodgers, the manager who beat his old team for the second time in a row in the league, was full of praise for his team after they came back from defeat at the Etihad.

After playing against the two teams we’ve played, “when you play against the two teams we’ve played, it was going to be a huge test of our mentality, spirit, and physicality.”

When we came through with a clean sheet and in the way we played, we showed that we were strong. There’s probably no team in the league that is more physical.

When I think about the two games, I don’t know what to say. It was so heroic for him to play so well.
