Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of full-back Daniel Muñoz from fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, sources have told ESPN.
The deal for Muñoz, 30, is worth in the region of £20m. He would be a key signing for Forest and would likely vie with Ola Aina for a starting spot on the right flank.
Muñoz moved to Palace in 2024 from Genk for around £6m and established himself as a key part of the team that won both the FA Cup in 2025 and last season’s UEFA Conference League.
He also featured for Colombia in the 2026 World Cup, and has won 51 caps at international level.
Forest have already signed Liam Delap for a club-record fee of up to £50m this summer, and have also brought in Ousmane Diomande, Gustavo Sá, Xaver Schlager and Steven Benda.
Muñoz was on Palace’s bench for their 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Friday.
When asked about the reason behind that call, Eagles manager Pierre Sage said: “It’s a sporting decision. My decision.”
